Stake

Stake has created a 'Transaction Report' to enable customers to seamlessly bulk import their historical Stake trades into Sharesight.

Import historical trades from Stake to Sharesight

Step 1 — Download your Stake Transaction Report

Choose whichever of these matches how you access Stake — both produce the same file, so you only need to follow one.

If you are using the Stake app

  1. On the bottom right corner, click Manage.
  2. Select Account from the top right corner.
  3. Click on Tax & reporting (financial year reports).
  4. Select a financial year, then click the download icon next to Investment activity.
  5. Select Excel (.xlsx) and save to files.

If you are using the Stake Web Platform

  1. On the top right corner click on the profile icon
  2. On the left sidebar under Tax & reporting, select Financial year reports
  3. You will find Investment activity for each FY. Select XLSX. Do the same for all financial years.

Step 2 — Upload the file to Sharesight

Once you've downloaded the file, the rest of the process is the same regardless of which method you used above.

  1. Login to or Sign up for Sharesight
  2. Click on the Add Investment button and select Upload via Broker
  3. Search and select Stake
  4. Select Choose a file
  5. The 'Trades to import into Portfolio' page will show an itemised list of all trades imported from the Stake spreadsheet file. Verify and edit the trade data as required.

If trades appear in red, this means that Sharesight either can't upload the trade or the trade will cause errors in your portfolio.

Note: If you trade both ASX and US shares on Stake, the XLSX file will contain trades for each market in separate tabs. Sharesight will import trades from both tabs automatically — you do not need to import them separately.
