Announcing the Sharesight Fintech Scholarship's 2023 winner
We are pleased to announce the winner of the Sharesight Fintech Scholarship for 2023, Kaytlin Perkins.

As a fintech company, we’re passionate about helping students get started on their pathway to successful careers in the financial and financial technology spaces.
We also believe gaining a solid education and knowledge of business fundamentals is crucial not only in helping students lead successful professional lives, but also in adopting an investing mindset from a young age that will help them grow their wealth over the long term.
With this in mind, we established the Sharesight Fintech Scholarship, offering a one-off cash grant to a prospective student planning to study at an Australian university in the greater financial field.
This year’s winner, Kaytlin Perkins, plans to study a Master of Professional Accounting at Central Queensland University, with the aim of becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Data Analyst following her studies.
"I have always been passionate about personal finance and investing, reading as many money management books as possible from a young age. I'm also currently a sole trader and enjoy managing my own tax obligations," says Kaytlin.
"I believe educating yourself in finance management is extremely important, as the consequences of not making informed decisions can be severe. My interest in money management is what encouraged me to continue my education at CQU, and I’m excited to advance into a career I believe I will really enjoy."
Applications for our 2023 scholarship have closed, however prospective students may now apply for the 2024 calendar year by filling out the form here.
