Sharesight product updates – February 2026
This month we rolled out the new Investments tab to all users, along with several other improvements across our web and our mobile apps.
The Investments tab (previously called Overview) includes many frequently requested features:
- Customisable column display
- More preset date ranges plus custom date selection
- New graph options
- An optional average buy price column
- Improved performance, ensuring large portfolios load without timeouts
- Logos and other design tweaks.
Thanks to everyone who shared feedback — we’re actively working through your feedback. We’ve already made improvements for mobile and tablet views, with more usability enhancements (especially for smaller screens) coming over the next few months.
Beyond the Investments tab, we’ve added a registry filter to the tasks tab to make reconciling dividends against share registry data easier. This filter appears for portfolios containing investments with supported registry data (Australian and New Zealand markets). We’ve also calculated the average buy price in portfolio currency for precious metals, now shown on both the holdings page and the investments tab.
To improve our dividend reinvestment functionality, we’ve introduced a new “no rounding” option for dividend reinvestment plans (DRPs/DRIPs), supporting fractional shares where platforms allow them. This setting is available on the “edit holding” tab of the holding page for investments where Sharesight supports DRPs. We have also improved calculation performance so portfolios with unconfirmed dividends and reinvestments load faster.
