In this annual snapshot, trades were led by Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA), Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) and Gamestop (NYSE: GME). Indeed, this year marked the rapid rise of the ‘meme stock’ trend with stocks like GameStop, AMC Entertainment (NYSE: AMC) and Blackberry (NYSE: BB) peaking earlier in the year.
