Sharesight product updates – March 2026

by Milly Brent, Business Analyst at Sharesight | Mar 16th 2026

This month we made several improvements to portfolio navigation, continued refining the Investments tab experience, added support for ASX-listed IPO stock trades, and improved the clarity of Xero sync status. We also made a few small updates to our mobile app.

To start, we’ve streamlined portfolio navigation to reduce clutter and prepare for future features. Specifically, we’ve removed the Brokers tab — all broker import functionality remains fully accessible via the ‘Add investments’ button on the Investments tab. Additionally, the Reports tab has been split into new Tax and Tools tabs, paving the way to adding more tools in future and planned enhancements to tax functionality (starting with Australian portfolios). All existing reports remain available, now organised under the new headings.

Meanwhile, we’ve continued to refine the investments tab based on customer feedback. We’ve made the layout more compact for users who prefer to hide the graph, and added a new option to hide logos (under ‘Edit table’) for users who wish to reduce clutter. The mobile view and layout on other smaller screens has also been refined to maximise the use of space.

Finally, for users who sync transactions to Xero, we’ve updated how we display these during the Xero sync process. Previously, a "Pending" (grey) status only appeared after data was sent to Xero; now, however, we’ve expanded this to include the internal queuing phase. This gives users improved visibility when syncing transactions on bulk, either from the tasks tab or from the Xero sync screen.
